Jesse Frias

Jesse’s professional journey in the field of addiction treatment began at an inpatient Mental Health and Substance Abuse level of care before joining the team at Etowah Recovery. With a multicultural background and having spent most of his life overseas in a bilingual Military family, Jesse brings a unique perspective to his work. Born in Japan and living and studying in South America as well as India, he understands the importance of cultural diversity and the impact it can have on individuals’ experiences with addiction.

As a person in long-term recovery himself, Jesse’s passion stems from his own personal journey of overcoming addiction. He firmly believes that addiction does not discriminate and that everyone deserves the opportunity to recover and lead fulfilling lives. Drawing from his own experiences, Jesse is dedicated to providing a client-centered approach, ensuring that each individual feels heard, understood, and supported throughout their recovery process.

Jesse’s motivation to assist clients seeking recovery is driven by his desire to give them the best possible path to success. He understands the challenges and obstacles that individuals face during their recovery journey and is committed to leveraging his own story to inspire and empower clients. By sharing his personal recovery experience, Jesse aims to instill self-confidence, courage, and strength in clients, helping them to believe in their own potential for healing and transformation.

Outside of his work, Jesse enjoys various activities that bring him joy and relaxation. Advanced powerlifting allows him to challenge himself physically and mentally, while modifying his car is a creative outlet that allows him to express his individuality. And of course, spending time watching shows with his cat, Maya, brings him a sense of comfort and companionship.
