Andy Drexler

Andy has a strong operations background in the service industry, but what really sets him apart is how connected he is to the recovery community. His story involves residential and intensive outpatient treatment. As a participate in the 12-step recovery community in Atlanta, he understands what people are walking through on a real, personal level. That experience shows in how he approaches others… with compassion, empathy, and respect every single time. He’s deeply involved in the Atlanta recovery community and genuinely loves supporting people as they navigate their own healing. Working directly with individuals in recovery is where he feels the most purpose, and it’s obvious in the way he shows up for them. Andy earned his bachelor’s degree in Humanities in 2018, and he’s currently preparing to pursue his certification in addictions counseling. He’s always looking for ways to grow and show up stronger for the people he serves. He brings lived experience, operational skill, and a real passion for helping others to Etowah Recovery Center.
