Jerry Gilfone

Jerry Gilfone is a dedicated Behavioral Health Technician and driver at Etowah Recovery Center, where he plays a crucial role in supporting individuals during some of their most challenging moments. With a compassionate approach, Jerry meets clients where they are, whether they are in crisis or taking their first steps into treatment. His ability to connect with clients and offer a reassuring presence makes a significant difference in their recovery journeys. Often times Jerry is the first person to meet a client coming in either from the next level of care (medical detox, residential program, or PHP/IOP) and even meets clients in the active crisis that is the precursor to their wanting to seek treatment. Experience strength and hope are often leveraged when working with a client one on one and Jerry has come through Etowah Recovery Center as a client, graduating and continuing in his long term recovery.

In addition to his direct support role, Jerry leverages his skills in event intervention and client advocacy to ensure that each individual receives the care and attention they need. He is committed to fostering a safe and supportive environment, helping clients navigate the complexities of recovery with empathy and understanding. Jerry’s unwavering dedication to his work not only empowers those he serves but also strengthens the community at large, making him an invaluable member of the Etowah Recovery Center team.
